Youth Adult Centre (YAC)
The Youth Adult Centre (YAC) at Gravenhurst Against Poverty (GAP) is a safe, welcoming space dedicated to supporting young people in our community. Open to youth aged 12-18, YAC provides an inclusive environment where young people can gather, explore their interests, build friendships, and gain mentorship from caring adults. Through creative workshops, engaging activities, and meaningful discussions, YAC fosters a sense of belonging and encourages youth to embrace their potential.

What YAC Offers
YAC is more than just a program – it’s a community where young people can feel seen, heard, and valued. From art projects and game nights to workshops on life skills, we offer a variety of activities that inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection. Our team of mentors and volunteers is dedicated to creating a positive space where everyone is welcome to express themselves, try new things, and build confidence.

YAC Schedule
Our YAC sessions are held biweekly, providing a consistent place for youth to connect, relax, and grow together. All activities are free of charge, and youth are encouraged to attend regularly to build lasting friendships and enjoy a strong support network.

Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Trinity United Church, 290 Muskoka Road North, Gravenhurst (Lower Level)
