At Gravenhurst Against Poverty (GAP), we understand that wellness extends beyond physical needs. Our Wellness Programs are designed to create spaces where neighbours can connect, learn, and grow together, fostering a sense of belonging and community support. Whether it’s over a shared cup of coffee, through youth mentorship, or in our community kitchen, GAP is here to help neighbours in the community.
GAP Coffee Time Social
Come for the coffee, stay for the company! Our GAP Coffee Time Social is open to neighbours, offering a friendly and relaxed environment to gather, chat, and enjoy the simple joy of good conversation. This weekly gathering brings people together to unwind, share stories, and connect in a welcoming space. Whether you’re looking for a casual chat or a deeper conversation, our Coffee Time Social is a wonderful way to build connections and foster community.

Community Kitchen Program (Currently Paused)
Our Community Kitchen Program is designed to bring people together to share the joy of cooking, learning, and community. In this program, neighbours work side-by-side to prepare nutritious, budget-friendly meals and exchange cooking tips. With all ingredients and supplies provided, participants can enjoy a delicious meal on-site and leave with the knowledge to recreate it at home. While the program is currently paused, we look forward to reopening the kitchen soon to once again offer a space for culinary connection and skill-building.
