Gravenhurst Against Poverty at the 71st Santa Claus Parade: A Festive Celebration

Over the weekend, we had the joy of participating in the 71st annual Gravenhurst Santa Claus Parade! This year’s theme, “Classic Christmas Movies,” gave us the perfect excuse to channel the fun and chaos of Griswold’s Christmas.

Our float was full of festive cheer, bringing smiles to everyone who gathered to watch. But the real stars of the day were our amazing volunteers, who walked alongside the float, spreading holiday joy by handing out fresh oranges to the crowd.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us—it’s moments like these that make our community so special. We’re already looking forward to next year’s parade!
